As discussed earlier, the greatest issue about advertising gold bracelets online?is most companies don’t care what type of condition the jewelry is in.? Simply because it just only doesn’t matter.? Most companies will send the jewellery to a refinery in an effort to melt the idea down making new bracelets.? So, no matter if that platinum watch is just not working ever again.? Simply mail it throughout and get the bucks for it.? It can be much better than having it into a pawn go shopping or nearly anything like that.

If a person goes to a new pawn go shopping or something like that, they don’t get a lot of money for their necklaces.? The used jewelry shop must buy it at the very low price, because they intent to make a profit off of it.? As well, they will decrease the price for almost any scratches or even negative things about the jewelry.? This is exactly why selling precious metal jewelry on the internet would be the best option.? There are many spots willing to use the jewelry regardless of the condition it truly is in and present people a high income for it.

Selling Gold Jewelry Online Today

Jewelry is a thing that can gradually start mounting up on a dresser Silver Jewelry, but most of the time a lot of it seriously isn’t even worn out anymore, this is why it would be smart to sell gold jewelry onlineand create quite a bit of income doing it.? There are various ways you could sell platinum jewelry, yet not all of them are the easiest way to get the maximum amount of money as they can. This article will concentrate on what the best practice to sell your gold rings is, along with the specific technique of how to promote jewelry
successfully is usually examined.

There lots of different ways selling gold rings online.? The easiest way to do it would be to go to a search engine optimization and try to search for a company of which buys precious metal jewelry, broken or not.? These lenders are not hard to find, nonetheless it may be hard to get a reputable a person.? Make sure that this company that is purchasing jewelry features a good status.? That way it’s possible to be sure that the person will get the most money for their jewelry and not end up being scammed. Cash For Platinum USA as well as Cash4Gold are 2 online yellow metal buyers which are not only safe and sound, but also supply the highest settlements you will find at any place, offline or perhaps online. Compare and contrast the two plus your selling bracelets experience will certainly be a pleasant one. Remember Antique Costume Jewelry, by promoting jewelry online Body jewelry, you are doing away with one, if you’re not two, midst men, who be going for a cut of your profits.? I’m hoping this article has recently been beneficial to these looking to make money on their precious metal jewelry that is certainly just lying around the house or maybe stuffed at the rear of that bureau drawer.

If you have ever been to the Jewelry Mart you know what a crazy nightmare it can be, there are thousands of Jewelers all wanting you to buy from them. ?In the midst of that craziness there is a wonderful place called Elias Fine Jewelry. ?It is a family business, they have been there for years and years and years…. It is Jack, his wife Jacqueline, son John and daughter Jane. ?They are truly some of the nicest people I have ever done business with. ?They are extremely accomodating, their quality is great and prices extremely competitive. ?If you are looking for that special piece of jewelry ?this really is the place to go. ?If you already have something in mind bring a ?picture they can make anything. ?Really, I’m not kidding – go there – their amazing!Logistically – they are at the corner of 6th and Hill… Enter on Hill St the second door and walk straight down, they are on the left (like 3 or 4 stalls in).
I reluctantly did the ‘dead man walking’ shuffle into the Jewelry mart last week to do the deed with my beautiful vintage pocket watches, determined and closet passive aggressive fiance. We strategically split up, she headed for one corner while I floundered around like a mullet out of water…that’s when I accidentally bumped into Jacqueline of Elias fine jewelery…she just stood there without a sound and she had this all knowing, peaceful aura about her that made me feel safe. We talked, she backed up and said ‘take a look”..no pressure..I was looking for a Jade men’s wedding band..set in white gold size 12…..I left with the most beautiful white gold with tribal design rope inlay between smooth layered shiny bands…hand made and perfect artistry…I am so in love with it, no pressure, great value and unique, cannot say thank you enough for my lovely ring…muah! Will I be back…Nope….I never thought I’d want another wedding ring ever again…this one makes me feel brand new….
Patient. ?Appears to be sincere. ?Friendly. ?Willing to spend time to help you make the right purchase. ?Good pricing. ?Good people. ?Great products. ?And full of knowledge and willingness to share. ?Good experience. ?Tell them I sent you =p
After, literally years of searching and working with a couple of other jewelers, and having bad experiences fashion jewelry, I had almost lost hope. Recently I decided to head to the Jewelry Mart in Downtown LA – which can be a nightmare because there are literally hundreds of jewelers and it can be overwhelming. After perusing the various buildings/spaces in the JM for over an hour, I met the lovely people at Elias Fine Jewelry. It’s a family business – originally I met and worked with Jack and his wife Jacqueline. Both of them are extremely nice, patient, and understanding. Also, very willing work with you to find exactly what you’re looking for. We ended up having them make a new wedding band for my husband. When it was complete, we went there and met John and Jane (their son and daughter). They are honestly some of the nicest people I have ever done business with. I walked away from the counter that evening KNOWING that A) I couldn’t be any happier with the entire transaction, B) I HAVE to share this with people Body jewelry, and C) I will DEFINITELY be back there. Anyone looking for a special jewelry piece, NEEDS to go there. They simply have the best customer service around. Their prices are extremely competitive. If you are looking for that special piece of jewelry this really is the place to go.
This is why I love Yelp. It gives the power back to the consumer. If yelp had a no stars option that’s what I would give Elias Fine Jewelry. But I guess they undeservedly will get one star from me. I bought my engagement ring here and was in love with the design and the cut of the diamond. The price was what I was looking for and I left happy and stared at my ring and adored it everyday. Until maybe a month or so later I sat down at my desk at work and like I always do I looked down at my ring, but this time I saw a hole, there was a hollow spot where my beautiful diamond had been. I panicked. I was frantic looking everywhere. I combed the entire building, I retraced my steps for hours and nothing, no diamond. After I realized I was looking for a needle in a haystack I immediately went downtown to explain the situation to Elias Fine Jewelers. I spoke with John, I had tears running down my face. I mistakenly thought they would stand behind their workmanship and product and be able to make my ring whole again. To my disappointment and surprise John basically shrugged his shoulders and asked if I had gotten insurance. Not being one who buys fine jewelry very often I hadn’t realized this was the norm and replied no I did not insure the ring. He basically had the attitude that it was not his problem and I should have insured it. I was shocked. He gave me a business card for an insurance company and well… I’m going to leave it to your imagine what he suggested I do next. He put a cubic zirconium in place of the diamond just in case I needed it. I am not out to get people shut down or anything so I’ll just leave it at that. Here I had paid a couple thousand dollars for a product and when it’s faulty, which is no fault of my own, I don’t expect to be the one paying the price for it. I went home still in shock. My husband even called to try and speak with them and received the same response. About a week or so later my husband and I went back downtown hoping to get the diamond replaced. We went back to Elias Fine Jewelers hoping they would at the very least give us a good deal on a replacement diamond. Spoke with John again and again we were disappointed. They were going to charge us MORE for a diamond than what we had originally paid!!! I argued with him for a moment stating the case of a business should stand behind it’s product. He replies with “how am I supposed to know you’re not running your hands through the dirt all day and that’s why it fell out” Really?? Only a little over a month and the diamond just pops out. I work in an office all day, it’s not like I’m doing construction. How about this, how about you guys made a defective ring (which by the way two small stones on the band had fallen out previously) and refuse to own up to it. In my eyes Elias Fine Jewelers cared more about money than their customers. Every opportunity I have to tell family and friends about my story I do. I do not have a lot of money to throw around so I ended going with a gold band for my wedding ceremony (from a different jeweler downtown) because I refuse to walk down the isle with a cubic zirconium for a ring. I loved that ring. ?I was and still am heartbroken over the situation. I plan on replacing the diamond one day once I have some money saved. I will never will go to Elias Fine Jewelers again.
Today I got up the courage to go in search of a setting for a Blue Topaz I purchased ten years ago! ?In the past I have avoided the jewelry mart, it left me feeling overwhelmed and intimidated, but my budget demanded I go where the deals are. ?I visited one store which had a good Yelp review but when they heard how little I had to spend, they didn’t give me the time of day. ?That’s when I wandered across the street and found Elias Fine Jewelry. ?Jane was so helpful. ?She understood my budget and showed me settings that were within it. ?I happened to fall in love with a setting that was out of my budget and she met me half way. ?I am now the owner of a gorgeous ring! ?Elias is a family owned business run mostly by Jane and John. ?They’re real people who you can trust and talk to. ?If you’ve been scared to tackle the jewelry mart – you now have a dealer who will work with you and who you can rely on – so fear no more!

Great place to find gifts for men and women. Much needed in the neighborhood and worth the drive from elsewhere for the hats alone! Very nice and helpful people working there (the owners?), too.
This is a very, VERY tiny boutique near several other similar boutiques along Eagle Rock Blvd. Maybe I just went in with high expectations Costume Jewelry, but this place wasn’t exactly what I expected. The selection of women’s clothing is miniscule and while the men’s clothing selection is slightly larger, it’s still very limited. This place is more of an accessories shop. They have a lot of cute, handmade-looking jewelry and many hats. If you’re on the hunt for a jewelry gift for a gal pal, this is a great place to go, but if you’re in the mood for a shopping spree, you’ll be disappointed in the selection.
Lured into this gem of a store by a Vivian Westwood draped dress wholesale Silver Jewelry, I was delighted to find an explosion of witty, well priced and well chosen hats, clothing, accessories and home wares.Jill, the owner is delightful and solicitous and has a genuine warm manner. ?You can tell she really likes what she is selling and cares about you finding what you need. Shopping here feels like an old friend is letting you in on a little delicious secret. The best thing about Media Noche? Really unique pieces at East side prices! Your loss Echo Park, Eagle Rock’s gain! It feels too good to be true… but here they are in Eagle Rock.
I was looking for a cowboy hat and typed “hats” in my yelp search and MediaNoche was first up. Its very easy to find and great location. I was pressed for time so I didn’t allow myself to browse, but now I wish I had Costume Jewelry! I found exactly what I was looking for, and for a great price too! As I was paying I did happen to look around and saw a lot of great items that I would love to have! Beautiful (handmade?) jewelry across the front counter! I had to resist. I am very pleased with my one purchase and I can’t wait to go back and do some real shopping! I’m not sure what city this little gem was in before, but I’m glad they’re here in Eagle Rock!
I strolled in here on a Saturday afternoon and I was in LOVE! They have adorable hats for under $50 bucks. I fell in serious love with this amazing fascinator with beads, feathers, and a birdcage veil. Darling. As I shopped, I made friends with Luxe, the cat. He’s this giant Siamese colored cat with blue eyes, once again; in love. They have a selection of women’s clothes mixed with new, and vintage. The opposite end of the store carries menswear and accessories. (If I had a BF I’d buy him a really cool hat from here) The store-guys were really cool and played my favorite, Iggy Pop.I can’t wait to go back.Cheap Monster
Monster beats by Dre
Monster Beats by Dre Studio
Wow, who new that one store could have so much style! ?I am in love with this place, the only problem is I want one of everything. ?If your treating yourself or shopping for a great gift this is the place for you! ?This place rocks!

I’m so pleased to see that every review for Prestige has 5 stars–however I can’t believe there are so few written! (Disclaimer: I don’t gush about many things… only the places that deserve it!)My fiance and I looked all over for an engagement ring we both loved. Everything we saw was cookie cutter and less than affordable. When we saw Prestige, at first I didn’t want to go in. The outside is not too impressive, and it seemed to be more of a pawn shop at first glance. My fiance convinced me to give it a try, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that he made us take a look inside. We were greeted by Phyllis, who was so warm and eager to help. She gave her opinion only when asked, but made it clear that no matter what, only my opinion was what mattered. Every other jeweler we went to was pushy and domineering, telling us what is a “good” value and what THEY think looks best on me. It was such a different experience at Prestige. After just a few minutes in the store, Bryan and I spotted the same beautiful ring in the case. As soon as I tried it on, we both knew this was it. It is unique, elegant, quality, and exactly what I was looking for… only better! Here’s the best part: It was super affordable! We saved a couple thousand dollars by buying from Prestige. We bought the wedding band here as well and I am DYING to start wearing it (only 4 days!). They resized my ring in just a couple hours after purchasing. When I came back, it was still too large, so Phyllis’ husband resized it one more time in about 20 minutes while we sat there and waited. Talk about great customer service! If you are looking for any kind of fine jewelry, please don’t bypass Prestige Jewelry!! Even if you don’t find what you’re looking for (which I bet you will), you’ll end up with a great and refreshing experience.Monster Beats by Dre Studio
Wanted to update my review for Team Phyllis &Jeffrey. Since my original post, I have emailed and bugged Phyllis multiple times for quotes for custom work, and she has always been more than helpful, even if I don’t always purchase. I have now made 4 purchases with her, and plan to continue using Prestige as my go-to local jewelers.
Amazing! Phyllis does live up to all these great comments. She was helpful with a ring I took and took all my silver and gold. She even had amazing jewelry at amazing prices. Wish I would of came here for my fiances ring.
Fast, friendly, affordable. I recently got my ring appraised here and could not be happier with the service that I received. Everyone was friendly, and I was extremely happy that I did not have to leave my ring overnight for them to appraise it. While I was waiting for my ring, I got a chance to look around for some more jewelry. The person that I spoke with also mentioned that if I saw something in a magazine, they would also be able to make that piece. I certainly would like to come back to make a jewelry purchase in the future.
affordable, so worth the 20-min drive to get to them! phyllis was so accommodating and even offered to open early so i could fit them in, into my schedule. she and her family were so friendly and helpful and didn’t rip me off. i’m not going to any other jeweler but her. she enlarged a fire opal ring of mine and was upfront about whether or not she could do it, the factors that would affect the job and how she would go about doing it. i’m so pleased with the workmanship. yeyy for prestige jewelry!!
Love this place!! This was my first experience with Prestige and it was wonderful!! Phyllis is a great person to do business with. I have always been skeptical of jewelers, going from one place to another searching for that person I can trust. I dont have to do that anymore thanks to Phyllis. From now on I shop at Prestige.
I don’t even know where to start with how helpful Phyllis is. I can call her, email even text her to get a price quote for what I want. So far, I have purchased rings, earrings and necklace pendents. And I am sure there will be more purchases in the near future. What I love most is being able to find random pictures online. Email it to Phyllis and she can give me a rough estimate of how much it would cost. If I like/love it, I can get it right away.Their prices are not just fair but at time cheaper then a lot of other places. Every time, when someone tells me they want a piece of jewelry, I would suggest for them to check our Prestige first. That’s for sure!
This store is fantastic! I’ve visited a few times previously to get rings re-sized, etc. I managed to crush part of a delicate gold necklace the other day, so I stopped by the store to see if they could even repair it. Lo and behold the helpful woman behind the counter skillfully bent it back into shop within minutes… FOR FREE! That’s some serious customer service! I will be back!
I searched far and wide to find a jeweler that didn’t have dollar signs in their eyeballs. I swear some of them I could actually see the forked tongue when they quoted me their outrageous prices. And you know I’ll take it personally when you try to steal my money. I was looking to have some stones set, as well as purchase an eternity band, and getting really frustrated.Saw Yelp’s reviews and went to Phyllis and I’m really glad I did. She dealt with my very detailed requests and custom made the eternity band with quality stones, and custom ordered settings for my stones. All at excellent prices – believe me, I looked (boutique shops, local jewelers, national chains, downtown jewelry district). It’s really rare to find a business owner who actually understands that ripping off a customer is not good practice. Phyllis understands that giving a fair price coupled with exceptional service earns customer loyalty and word-of-mouth. I will definitely be going back for other purchases and recommending her to everyone!
My girlfriend (now fiancee) and I had a wonderful experience here!I spent a lot of time researching diamonds and settings on http://bluenile.com. They seemed to have pretty good prices and quality but a friend suggested I check this place out. It was somewhat a drive but completely worth it.Phyllis was calm, professional, helpful, and most importantly very nice. She worked with us and our budget and never pressured us with anything above it. We were able to find something my lady absolutely loved and at a lower price than I had budgeted for. Win, win! They immediately went to work setting the engagement ring while the band had to be ordered. It arrived in 6 weeks as promised and I got a courteous text message from Phyllis. There’s not a single thing I could complain about and I don’t think you’ll find one either. Thanks Phyllis!
I proposed to my (now) fiance on Tuesday April 19th. ?Needless to say, she was flabbergasted. ? She has been showing off the ring to people every day and is very pleased. ?Even better, once she made it home to show her parents, her mom called it “beautiful”. ?I second what I said before that Prestige is an excellent place to shop.
GO SEE PHYLLIS!My wife and I have been going to Phyllis since she was at the Glendale Galleria. Now she’s opened her own shop, and it’s awesome.Remember, I’m a guy. I HATE jewelry stores, but I don’t mind going in to see Phyllis. She takes care of you, she does custom work, and her prices can’t be beat. It’s so nice having a “personal” jeweler…it makes everything so much easier!IF I ever buy any more jewelry, I’ll definitely go to Prestige.
I love Prestige Jewelry Stainless Steel Earrings! I bought my engagement ring, a custom wedding band, a custom made ruby necklace, pink tourmaline pendant, etc. Each time, the quality of work was outstanding and the prices were extremely reasonable. Phyllis is very knowledgeable and has an amazing eye for detail. I can always trust her to tell me her honest opinion and I know that everything I buy here is detailed and of high quality. I have compared prices/quality elsewhere and Phyllis has never disappointed me. It is so nice to have a jeweler that I can trust and who I know is not going to rip me off. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
small jewelers are the way to go! i’ve heard so many horror stories from friends who went to big, large chains. i went back to fix this problem i had with my ring: it kept spinning, as in the diamond part would keep spinning completely to the other side. my finger is weird because my knuckles are larger than the base of my finger. so, i took it in and they put two gold beads inside the ring. it has pretty much solved the problem. and in only 40 minutes. it also came back super sparkly and clean. i can’t wait to come back to pick out our wedding rings. prestige jewelry, i’m a fan! you’ll be hard-pressed to find jewelers who are friendlier, more accommodating, and offer better prices than these guys. they treat their customers with a ton of respect.
My entire family (mom, sister, aunt, and great aunt) have been frequenting Prestige Jewelry for many years. ?The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. ?Even if they don’t have the piece you’re looking for, they can easily hand craft something exactly to your liking. ?For example, you might like a ring, but want better diamonds and they’ll make you exactly what you want. ?In addition to their exquisite workmanship, they also have great prices. ?Don’t miss Prestige Jewelry!
I always stipulate that I do not normally review businesses unless they truly exceed all expectations. This is one business that I find cause to praise. First and foremost, anyone who appreciates diamonds should appreciate Phyllis. She has the perfect “eye” for this business. She stands by every stone she sells and has the documents to back it up. She talks with you and gets an impression of you and your “taste” right off the bat. Phyllis has a sincerity about her that makes you feel comfortable in speaking about budget and gives you her honest assessment on the what cut, clarity and carat weight you can comfortably afford. And, if you are in search of a replacement diamond (which was my case), she will find a diamond that maybe even better than your first and can still fits within the range of your budget! She is expedient and efficient when dealing with insurance companies, which made my experience quite smooth. Once you narrow down your preferences in the shape of the diamond, she’ll go to work for you. She’ll look high and low to give you options… and of the options she gives you, you’ll be pleased with all of them and find it very hard to choose which one is the best. Often times you’ll be surprised to see what she can fit into your budget. More often than not, you’ll go to Prestige Jewelry and find that the shop is bustling with customers. Fear not: once she buzzes you in, she’ll genuinely greet you, quietly assess your needs and manage your expectations. You never have to wait long for service. She and Jeffrey always have everything under control. Phyllis is fair, she’s honest, she’s kind and she’s extremely knowledgeable. On top of all that, her professionalism and courteousness exceeds all expectations (her customer service scores surpass even Nordstrom, Neiman’s, Tiffany’s or any high-end retailer). All these qualities are what you want in your own personal jeweler. It’s what you should expect out of someone handling something so valuable and meaningful. As for Jeffrey, well, all I can say is that he and Phyllis compliment each other. Jeffrey is a gifted artist, with a great eye for beauty. His skills and attention to detail make him perfect for this industry. In my case, I liked several different settings and had a hard time choosing. He and Phyllis sat with me, looked at the new diamond I chose, carefully looked at my finalists in settings and then Jeffrey offered his honest opinion on what would be most suitable for me. He told me that we should combine two of the settings that I liked to create a unique design that would be all mine. In fact, the setting that he designed truly showcases my diamond, but also incorporated my personal style. He hit the proverbial “nail… square on its head”. I’ve had my replacement ring for over a week now and can’t believe how many compliments I’ve received. If you were to ask me for the top ten adjectives which accurately describe Prestige Jewelry (and in particular, its owners) Bridal Jewelry, I’d have to say: (1) professional; (2) knowledgeable; (3) creative; (4) trustworthy; (5) fair; (6) customer-friendly; (7) quality-conscious; (8) reliable; (9) expedient; (10) genuine. Before you go online, to a mall, to the jewelry district or to any one of those discount warehouses like Jareds, Robbins Brothers, Costco or even Tiffany’s. Give Prestige Jewelry a good “look-see”. It’ll be worth your while. Phyllis and Jeffrey are the good-guys; they have authentic certification for their diamonds – you can be sure they are purchased from reputable wholesalers and they’ll be the first to tell you to compare their quality of diamonds and prices with those on http://bluenile.com (or any other authentic jeweler online), to those discount places, or even the jewelry district. If you are in search of a place where you can find beautiful diamonds at fair prices and where quality in product is taken seriously as is pride in workmanship, then head on over to Prestige Jewelry. You won’t regret it – I promise.Thank you Phyllis and Jeffrey – for making what could have been a truly traumatic incident, a painless and memorable experience. I’m so very happy (truth-be-told, I’m “over the moon”) with my new ring!
Excellent service. My wife was looking for a very specific Sapphire stone, and Phyllis was able to locate it for her. My wife was very please and they do all their own work in-house, so the ring was ready in 30 mins. ?Basically, if they don’t have it…they can make it or get it. ?Highly recommended.

Another potential gem in South Pas.While I lament the loss of the Book House, I welcome Raphael’s World with open arms. ?Given how expensive some shops in South Pas can be Monster Bears Pro CheapCostume Jewelry, this place is a nice change. ?Raphael’s has mostly fashion jewelry but also sells women’s purses Body Jewelry, scarves and household items like pretty table runners, glasses and spice racks. ?The owner also makes his own lamps.I’ve bought mostly jewelry here and gotten compliments on all the pieces. ?Every once in a while I find a really unique piece like a beautiful gold and pewter necklace reminiscent of tiny lily pads strung together. ?Some of the nicer pieces can be up to about $30 but for the most part, the pieces are under $20.The owner is also a very entertaining French guy who loves to chat. They are currently having a 20% off sale. Sweet.Christian Louboutin Outlet

Listen, im not gonna lie, the owner seemed like a total bitch, but i didn’t bother conversing with her anyway. I went in looking for trim, i found an AMAZING assortment to choose from, picked my favorite and left! SO happy with my choice AND the price. Wedding dress got a beautiful sparkly belt for $25!|||Honesty Is The Best Policy! My god sister went to this place and suggested that I go she knows how particular I am about my crystal, they must be swarovski or I won’t buy them. ?I usually go to their competitor next door ( who’s name I don’t need to mention, but if I must it’s Bohemian Crystal ) I decided to try something new, BIG MISTAKE. When needed help from behind the counter there was no organization, I was more like get in where you fit in so I just lingered in the back until the crowed thinned out. ?I had my granddaughter and daughter with me and didn’t want to get hurt. When we finally made it to the counter to order things where going good until one of the ladies LIED yes I said it LIED. I asked one of the helpers for crystals she informed they did not have them in and then another women came up said something in Spanish ( that I do not speak ) and took me to an area of the store showed me glass and told me they where real swarovski crystal. ?Had I not been buying real swarovski for over 15 years I would have never known. ?Like I said Honesty Is The Best Policy if ?the women would have left well enough alone I probably would have returned in the future. ?I need to trust the person who I am buying from. ?If you are new to buying swarovski crystal ?DON’T GO HERE ?you just may get something you didn’t ask for. ?I won’t go back!Consider yourself warned Sincerely, Don’t like being lied to!|||Don’t buy here Teresa sold me wrong items and then said they were sent via UPS but cannot provide a tracking number. I was given the wrong item on Dec 17th when i realized i called back and they said they would call on Monday i received their message at 8pm at night requesting my shipping address which i tried to give them the previous Saturday and TERESA told me i will ?call Monday and get that. finally Tuesday i called and they took my info and said it would be mailed. Now Dec 28th still not arrived i call and get excuses from MARTHA as the boss was not available but every time i go there the Owner is always there. Martha says don’t get upset but refuses to give me a tracking number supposedly shipped via ups. go next door to the Bead factory ?aka Bohemian as the prices are more reasonable. I only go here when i have to but now will find another place to take my business. they have lost me as a customer|||DO NOT GO THERE!!!The woman Martha is super rude, arrogant bridal jewelry sets, and mean. ?She has to be the owner to be able to act the way she does. ?I do not understand how this place even stays in business?!|||Good selection. ?Prepackaged Swarovski by the gross so fast service! ?Rude Iranian owner—a total asshole. ?Rude to customers who write him his paycheck! ?No purchases of under $25! ?So… Guess what…lots of competition on Maple Ave. ?I’d shop at Bohemian!!|||DON’T SHOP HERE!!!!!! ?THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!I ordered trim to be delivered, charged me astronomical fee for UPS ground. ?They delivered to me in California, charged my credit card without informing me, and charged me a ridiculous amount to ship a 5lb package UPS ground. ? Called the scumbag (he’s a man with a heavy accent) of course he LIED to me telling me he was not making money off of me. ?I’m so angry!!GO TO BOHEMIAN CRYSTAL, THEY’RE CHEAPER, NICER AND THEY”RE RIGHT NEXT DOOR.|||I went here to buy some swarovski rhinestones, but I was a bit hesitant about this place because of all the negative reviews I read. However, this place is AWESOME. I believe the negative reviews probably have more to do with the fact that a lot of people don’t understand what type of business this place is. The location is in downtown LA, so we’re talking Fashion District/Wholesalers. Fortunately, my parents ran a clothing business for half my life, so I am somewhat familiar with this area and the way these places do business. The people who own this place do have a heavy accent, but they are NOT incompetent when it comes to english. However, I do believe that the perception of the workers here as being “rude” can be easily attributed to cultural differences. They are used to working with people who are in business or in the fashion industry, and not to the general public. As such, they are not like your neighborhood crafts store, so they wont “hold your hand” while you make your decision on what to buy. However, if you are looking for a GREAT selection of beads, rhinestones, appliques, pendants, and crystals at competitive prices, then this is a GREAT place to shop.Their selection is amazing, and their prices are as close to wholesale as you can possibly get. I have shopped around, both online and in person to various crafts stores, and I can tell you that the prices you will find here are some of the best. Their selection when it comes to most specialty items like beautiful crystal & lace appliques, beads, and rhinestones are a LOT better than what you would get at your local crafts store, but if you are looking for more of a RANGE of ?items such as beading string, scissors, and clasps, then this place is NOT where you want to go.Anyways, when it comes to my own personal experience, I will explain why I gave this place a 5 star review. I came here yesterday to buy some rhinestones, and I spent almost $300 for thousands of them since I planned on bedazzling some shoes. I came ready to order, so I knew exactly what I was getting and I gave them my list (e.g., 21 gross of 5SS AB, 11 gross of 9SS AB, etc.). Since they are used to dealing with wholesalers and NOT to the general public, they like it when you are competent, quick, and do not need a lot of hand-holding when it comes to making a purchase. Keep in mind, they make a LOT more money to the retailers who buy in bulk here than they do to the general public who have the tendency to consume 90% of their time while only constituting about 10% of their revenue. Therefore, if you plan on coming here, you should know what you want.He filled my order half way, and then I stopped him to ask for the total since I only had so much cash. He started to calculate the remaining amount, and then he rang it up on the cash register and I paid. He even gave me a discount, despite the fact that I didn’t ask for any, so I was feeling really good about this place. I then left and FORGOT to ask him to finish filling my order, and as busy as it was, I cannot blame him for forgetting to finish filling my order as well. Thus, I walked out without almost 50 dollars worth of rhinestones, and I did not realize it until I got home and started to go through my purchases.I immediately called the place, and it took me awhile to get through to him. When I was finally able to reach him, he said he would go through his inventory to see if I really did not receive my order. I decided to just go back today to check in person, and when I got there, he was quick to let me know that he remembered me and he happily finished filling my order DESPITE it being the next day. This gesture made me realize that DESPITE the fact that he was busy, he could have easily gotten away with saying he did not “owe” me anything, and he had already done me a favor by giving me a huge discount anyways WITHOUT me having asked for one (nearly $25 off!), he was an honest businessman and he was NOT trying to “rip me off”. Thankfully I walked down the street a bit to find the “beads” part of the store – holy mother! This place is HUGE! Long, wide, stocked rows of thorough selections of pearls vintage cufflinks, gemstones, crystals, glass, Czech, fire polished, wooden, plastic, metal beads, surrounded by an even more vast selection of seed beads – every cut, color, and size imaginable. They also carry a good amount of findings and have a little pavilion of trims in the back corner. Oh, and it’s all very fairly priced. Not giving it the coveted 4th or 5th star because of how awkward the staff was. As soon as I walked in one of the many young Mexican gals working there handed me a basket. My husband, who was sick of all the walking we had done to find the place and who was also melting from the heat outside, sat on the foot of a set of stairs in the back of the store to take a breather while I shopped. After being offered help for maybe the 5th time, one of the workers said “Guy on stairs?” I asked for some clarification, and finally I assumed she was asking if I knew the dude sitting on the stairs. She nodded her head, and I asked her if it was OK for him to sit there. She didn’t really say anything and walked on. While I was checking out, a guy behind the counter said to the clerk, “Charge her $10 extra for using my stairs in the back.” I laughed ?- he didn’t. He repeated himself. I laughed again, nervously. He gave me a poker face. Thankfully my total didn’t reflect the $10 surcharge, though my creepiness radar sky rocketed.|||I’m sorry, the staff may be nice with the exception of the owner (i assume) who is without a personality. The selection is ?lame. Nothing here other than a crap load of shinny ugly things and beads. Not so much in the findings department like they claim in their name “Beads and More” more is just more beads and more ugly shinny Christian Louboutin Sandals ukthings. I came in and I exited just as fast as I entered. I did however buy some E-6000 because they had a massive tube of it and I bought clamps. The ladies in here where helpful. Better if you can speak Spanish so I was sans a problem. The selection is just blah. If beading is your thing then you will heart this place. But for my up-cycled vintage jewelry making and needing some findings this place blows.|||The store is clean and well organized and they have lower prices than several other stores. But parking is a hassle – and if the downtown merchants wanted more business they’d harass the City Council into making parking easier and cheaper. I’ve gotten at least 4 tickets over the years because the meters cost something like a quarter for 2 minutes – and I ran out of change. Not the friendliest staff, but you can’t have everything.|||Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!! ?I had shopped there in the past only for the owner to be so incredibly rude to his customers over and over. He is not customer-oriented and could not care a less weather you return or not. He practically “grunts” a response to “how are you”. Pathetic. There are many places in the area that carry the same product. Right next door at Bohemian Crystal who are helpful and a lot less expensive. Beads and More does not deserve the business.|||Rude! Rude! Rude! And it’s such a bummer, because the store itself is clean and organized. However fashion necklaces, all but one of the staff there on my first (and only) visit were cold and disinterested. Had this been it, I wouldn’t care, however, while at the counter – paying for $55 bucks-worth of crystals for my daughter’s skating dress – the owner’s daughter who was working at the store said “Go Away” to me under her breath. When I mentioned it to the woman who was helping me, her eyes kind of widened and she said she would ask her about it. As I was leaving, though, I saw the same woman laughing, so – against my better judgment – I turned around and went back in. I went up to her and said “Is someone going to talk to her?” since, she seemed to think it was funny. At that moment, the woman at the register – who is apparently the owner – asked me what the problem was. I told her what had happened, to which she said dismissively “My daughter?! No – I did not raise her to be rude to customers. She did not say that. But nevertheless, I will talk to her”. Yeah, right. All the while she was ringing up a sale and never even once looked at me. The owners clearly don’t care about how their customers are treated. The other reviews here support that. I thought I had found a little gem of a store, but I will never go back. It’s a shame they seem to do such a brisk business and get so much foot traffic. There’s really no incentive for them to care.|||I feel a little relieved to know that other people received the same terrible treatment that I did. ?The woman who is the owner’s wife was extremely rude. ?I couldn’t understand why and so I left because she was barking at me. ?I did let the owner know that his wife was quite rude to customers and his reponse was then don’t buy from her ?but she’s been nice to me for 20 years. ?I doubt that. ?Anyway, not nice people!!|||The bead selection is not bad; it was the rude service that causes me to give this place two measly stars. I strolled in here in a cheerful mood, excited to drop a few hundred bucks on bead supplies, with my friend and my four-month-old baby. Now, being that my little guy cannot walk yet, and I had been hoofing it all over downtown LA that day, he was in this modern invention known as a stroller. The impolite saleswoman told me I had to leave my stroller by the register. I said no; my baby was in it after all! I am not partial to leaving my baby with strangers while I shop. Especially rude strangers. I have been making jewelry for nearly 15 years, and I know how to act in a bead store. My son was fast asleep; he was not grabbing at anything, and besides the aisles were plenty wide enough to accomodate a stroller. I will not be back. Luckily, we found a store with just as much selection and great prices down the road on the corner of Cecilia Street called Bruna Beads. GO TO BRUNA – they are VERY nice, they do not discriminate against moms, and they were happy to take my money!|||I’ve never been treated so badly. The lady said…and I quote “nobody will help you as long as you keep standing there…if you want help come here now or leave”. I had never been there before and was standing behind the customers who were ahead of me. I will never go back!Monster beats by Dre

I’m so happy to give the first review for Charming Charlie, Santa Anita! I was first introduced to this “jewelry museum” (as my fiance calls it) when I went to Austin, TX in early 2011. When I was there I visited the store three times in four days. I just couldn’t get enough! Ever since my trip, I have been anxiously waiting for a Charming Charlie to open in SoCal. And now, they have moved into my local shopping mall. I went for the first time tonight, and the store was beautiful! I was immediately greeted upon entry by a sweet sales associate who I proceeded to talk to me about the store. She told me about their sales going on and seemed genuinely happy to have me to be their customer. I was in the store for a good hour and found so many amazing items, including a scarf, three pairs of earrings, two rings, a necklace, and a hat. All together bangle bracelets, my bill came out to just over $70. You really can’t beat their prices! Everything is affordable, fun, and…charming! The store is primarily fashion accessories, but they also have cute tops and leggings. The best part is that they color coordinate their merchandise so you can easily find your favorite color to shop from. You really could spend hours in there. Girls- You wont regret checking this place out! Guys- If you’re shopping for a gift for a special lady in your life, this will be an easy place to find a gift for a women of any age. Big thanks to Charming Charlie for giving SoCal such a great store! I will definitely be back…a lot!|||Likes: accessories heaven. ?and I LOVE how it’s all arranged by color!Dislikes: prepare to leave with a lighter wallet… |||I just found this little hidden treasure in the Promenade area of the Santa Anita mall. Once I walked in, I was so exicted – almost like a little kid in a candy shop. This is one huge accessories shop. They have everything, and I mean EVERYTHING: jewelry, hair accessories wholesale jewelry findings, shoes, purses, scarves, etc. I’ve never seen such a big store that sells only accessories! The best part about this store is that everything is organized according to color. So if you have a specific color scheme going on for an outfit, you can go straight to that color and see all the accessories available in different shades of that color. Some of the accessories are available in different colors of the same design. So if you just absolutely love a certain piece, you can get it in different colors to go with whatever outfits you have!! Absolutely in LOVE with this place!!Parking: Big parking lot and underground structure for the Santa Anita mall.

If the thought of the LA jewelry mart scares you….FEAR NOT! Tievoli (“iloveit” spelled backwards) is the place to go for excellent customer service and very very reasonable prices. This is the place where they don’t just remember your name, they remember your ring size and your birthstone! They have a huge variety and if you need something they don’t have in stock CZ Jewelry, they will make sure to order it or make it for you Wedding Jewelry! I found a great ring and they sized it right then and there for me! (you won’t find that at the store with the expensive blue boxes CZ jewelry!!)

He did an AMAZING job with my rings. His work is better than I expected and his service is so kind and sincere. I would highly recommend him for any of your jewelry repair needs. I got 2 rings resized, on needed the tips redone to secure the diamond (old 1940′s piece that was my Grandma’s original engagement ring – HE DID AN AMAZING JOB, maintained the original design and feel of the ring), he also dipped my engagement ring which was 10k and I evidently needed 14k to avoid skin allergies. THANK YOU. I will definitely be highly recommending your services to friends. As a side note, I imagined an older gentleman, Sam is a youngin, couldn’t be older than 35. Good job for really mastering your craft.
After wearing my engagement ring for a couple of weeks, I decided it was too tight in hot weather and wanted to get it resized. ?Of course, I couldn’t find anyone I would trust close to home in the valley, so expanded my search to the greater Los Angeles area. ?Endless thanks to Yelp for guiding me to Sam! ?My fiance called and made an appointment just in case and we drove on down. ?He works out of a small room in a building full of jewelry sales counters. ?We were confused about where to go at first but finally saw the F9 on the right side towards the back. ?I gave him my ring and told him I needed to go bigger. ?I wasn’t sure what size I wanted to go up to and he had me try on different sizes on the ring sizer until I was confident and answered my questions on how a ring should fit, stressing that my comfort was the most important criteria. ?He cleaned it first until it was so shiny I hardly recognized it and then began the resizing process. ?He could tell I’d never seen a ring resized before and explained to me what he was doing and why. ?He had me try on my ring, making sure it was perfect before letting us leave. ?I was worried that my ring would look different, that I’d be able to see where it was resized, but that wasn’t true at all! ?It looks even better than before! ?I only went up half a size, but it made such a huge difference. ?I am very glad I found Sam. ?He took care of my ring and the price was so good, I felt like I was taking advantage! ?Will definitely be back for any jewelry needs in the future.
Sam does excellent work! Thanks Yelpers for guiding me to Sam’s. The setting, stone included, on my wife’s wedding ring somehow separated itself from its band. Luckily the setting was found in her jacket pocket. ?I took said pieces to Sam who made the necessary repairs. He also did an expert job of cleaning the stone/setting/band. Exceptional work Sam! ?My wife was quite please to say the least. Thank you.
Sam is honest and a true craftsmen. I’m glad I went to him for watch needs. I couldn’t recommend him enough! His shop is in F9 all the way in the back right hand side. Thank you!! :*)
Sam’s Jewelry & Watch Repair is a gem in itself. I took my engagement ring to be re-sized here because of the great Yelp reviews (and fellow yelpers were right!). Although I knew my ring size, Sam had me try a ring sizer to double check. He re-sized my ring perfectly. I also gave him 3 gold bracelets to fix (latch) and not only did he fix the latches on the bracelets, ?he polished them to look brand new! ?Very good work at affordable prices. I would recommend Sam’s to anybody who needs a trusted person to work on their jewelry.
Love Sam! He is honest, fair, quick, and I completely trust him with my jewelry. His work is flawless
Sam did an expert job at restoring a vintage watch that i had brought to him. ?His charges were very reasonable. ?he was extremely pleasant and courteous and the restoration was completed within a week. ?I was so pleased that i brought him a mechanical watch that needed servicing. ?Once again I was extremely pleased at the reasonable cost for the service. ?the watch was serviced within a week of me dropping it off. ?I highly recommend Sam. ?I only regret that i do not have more items for him to repair.
I yelp’d for a good shop to resize a ring and replace the batteries for a few of my watches, and decided to go with Sam’s shop.I brought in a silver ring that my friend had hand made to have resized along with 3 of my watches. Sam welcomed my friends and I in and asked what services we needed done. After filling out a little sheet, he asked when I needed my things by and I responded with whenever but the sooner the better. My friends and I decided to wait around the shop so Sam told me he told get started on the ring and watches right away. He asked me if I wanted to get the ring I was currently wearing (a matching ring to the one I needed service on) polished, and, why yes. Yes I did!I believe she was an assistant maybe of Sam’s but she started on my watches right away and Sam worked on the rings. When I got my finished rings back, I was surprised with the work he had done with them. Not only did he do the requested service to the (obviously hand made silver rings, that were not professionally done). He had made them look brand new, professional, and beautiful. The rings had significance because of the small initials that were stamped on the rings when they were made, and Sam had some ink fill it in so that you were able to see them more clearly.I’m more than happy with the results and I would recommend going to Sam to anyone. Not to mention, Sam’s pricing is extremely reasonable and he takes precision in your requests. Thumbs up!!!!
After about a week of intensive research on Yelp of everywhere between Pacific Palisades to Pasadena and Long Beach to Burbank- I knew all there was to know (second-yelp-hand) about resizing an engagement ring. or fixing a watch. What I wanted to know is who would resize a set of stacking amber rings? And do it while preserving the amber (which can’t handle heat) and preserving the distance of the locking sections? After realizing that the search “ring resizing” would be a fail as people keep referencing engagement rings, I started searching for “jewelry repair” for someone who could potentially resize my rings without messing them up. I made a list of 18 stores in LA and Orange County to call during my lunch break with Sam’s Jewelry being on top thanks to sixty five wonderful yelpers before me. My first question would be if Sam could resize amber rings, it was an immediate and assured answer regarding his having the correct equipment. I asked for a price and it was very reasonable, so I actually didn’t even call a single other shop after Sam’s confident response and the reasonable price of the ring resize. [I wanted a reasonable price, because I was hoping this would be a trial run for finding a go-to jeweler for me and the rest of my transplant friends.] I bravely drove into DTLA on a weekday afternoon just to see him, I have not driven in DTLA in the last decade- so this was a testament to my faith in Sam. After my nightmare that was parking, I found Sam in the back of the jewelry mall as other yelper’s had stated (ty fellow yelpers!) and he was very nice. Sam answered a lot of my questions in my frazzled state and made me feel comfortable and secure. I looked around a bit as he resized my three amber rings set in silver, another silver ring with a gemstone on top, threw in a complimentary polish on a silver bracelet that was previously thought to have been purposely darkened- not just tarnished, and steam cleaned a silver necklace. While I waited. Seriously. I wouldn’t have let anyone have precious care of my amber rings away from my care since they were a gift from my mom, so I was very appreciative of Sam taking care of it right away. However, here is the kicker- this is why I was on the phone raving compliments about him for the last three hours when my usual phone time on a Tuesday night is the four texts to ask people about getting dinner at the last minute—- drumroll please—Sam spent a full hour with me answering all the jewelry questions I have wanted to ask, but have always been too afraid to ask because of fear of looking ignorant or setting myself up to be duped. I had read a lot about jewelry online in the last week for my hunt to resize my rings and my new year’s resolution to absolutely update my jewelry box. Anything that didn’t fit was going to be altered to fit and anything I didn’t like- I wanted to melt down and remake to something I would like… We talked about a lot of options and I felt comfortable with him and his answers and will no longer yelp to find someone else. Additionally, we came up with a variety of ideas for a custom bracelet for my mom’s birthday. It was a spur of the moment idea, but incredibly disjointed and Sam was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, understanding— it was like wikipedia became a person and gave me a hug before suggesting links I would find informative when furthering my search.Sam was amazing about being honest about cost and helping me stay within a range I felt comfortable without being condescending. I can honestly say that has never happened in a jewelry store. I think that was the main reason I stopped buying jewelry. I am now going to spend hours combing the internet to find the perfect engraving so we can go make a custom bracelet for my mom.Additionally, this is my first post in over 100 that I’m going to post photos so people can see resizing on delicate stones (is amber considered a stone, since it’s made out of tree sap?)PS Sam is a serious gentleman, he walked me out of the building after it had closed and offered to walk me to my car.
Great service, same day pickup. They really know what they are doing.
If you live or work Downtown and you need to replace the battery in your watch antique watches, go to Sam. It’s in the heart of the jewelry district. ?Convenient. Fast. Easy.Sam is great. ?2 watch batteries replaced at $5 each in less than ten minutes.
If you’ve never been to Sam’s shop before, it’s tucked away in Suite #F9 in the back right corner of ?637 S. Hill St. (not to be confused with Sue & Sam Jewelry at the same address).I originally found out about Sam through an LA Times article (http://moourl.com/opfxs) and through a friend’s Yelp review (http://moourl.com/42bas).My mom gave me her old engagement ring as a gift for when I proposed to my girlfriend. I didn’t know my girfriend’s ring size, so I looked for a jeweler who could size the ring for her immediately after I proposed, so she could wear it that day! Sam fit the bill perfectly. After I proposed downtown, my fiancee and I walked to Sam’s shop, and within about half an hour, he had re-sized her ring (for a good price, too)!About a month later, my fiancee decided the ring was actually a little bigger than she wanted it to be, so we went back to Sam. He adjusted it for free ?: )It’s always a pleasure to sit in his shop and watch him work! Sam is always nice and very patient. He works quickly and always does an amazing job. I highly recommend his work!
Been back to Sam’s a couple times and I’m still so happy with his great sevice! What a nice talented guy! Keep it up Sam!
Sam’s great!!! His little repair shop is at the end of the floor with other jewelers. I was a little confused at first since i was expecting a storefront, but i am unfamiliar with how jewellery district works.i brought in my mom’s vintage rolex (from the 1930s) with a gold rivet bracelet where the the center link and one of the sides fell out (SEE PICTURES), but the rivet end was still attached. i took it to a watch repair who told me to go to a jeweler so i took it to a jeweler/watch repair with 5 star reviews on yelp, and he told me i was missing pieces and that there was NO WAY he could repair it! I panicked and was about to go to rolex to see if they could fix it, expecting to drop a ton; thankfully, yelp and Sam came to the rescue! He told me it was no problem and he just had to find a spring? for it. He did say he won’t be able to make that one link stretchy again which wasn’t a big deal to me. He gave me an estimate after 2 business days (and i was expecting $100 if i was lucky, but it only came out to be $50!) he promptly called me twice, once for the estimate and once when the watch was ready! the watch was fixed in one business day after i okay-ed it! I also wanted the links to be moved to reduce the size of the bracelet and he did it in one minute! ***Tip: Try to street park $2 every hour…otherwise parking is like $4 for every 15 min or $4 flat rate after 4pm. Cash onlyFavourites: Super fast! Actually called me. Was able to fix what others said they couldn’t! Do not want: hard to find parking…Last words: Fast & professional
Stopped in for a quick watch band replacement and Sam immediately found something cool and sized it for me while I waited.
Definitely, Sam’s is as good as it gets. ?Thank you Yelp for another great find. ?I took Sam a watch, a pair of white gold rings Cubic zirconia jewelry, and a pair of earrings. ?Watch needed a battery and I got the Yelp discount so it cost me $5. ?One the earrings need a backing and both needed cleaning and one needed some repair. ?The rings needed to be dipped in rhodium and cleaned. ?All for a bargain price. ?Work was done while we waited. ?Rings and earrings came out sparkling white and looked as good as new. ?Sam is trustworthy, fast and professional. ?He’s very personable and just a cool righteous dude. ?If you need your jewelry fixed, cleaned, or watch repaired, Sam’s the man.
Sam fixed my watch for about a third of the price that was quoted to me at another shop and it was ready in a couple of hours. ?The other shop told me it would take them 10 days to order parts for my watch. ?Glad I found this place!
My fiance gave me his grandmothers beautiful vintage platinum ring when he proposed last January. ?I LOVE it, however, it was a full size too big. ?After making call after call to jewelery stores to get quoted about resizing, I began to get frusterated. ?Every place I called said it would take a week to get my ring resized…a week?? Really? ?There was no way I was leaving my precious ring in someones shop for more than a few hours, let alone a whole week! ?I’ve heard horror stories about that! And then, thanks to Yelp, I found Sam. ?I called up Sam on a Saturday and made a same day appointment. ?My fiance and I drove to DTLA and met Sam who was very kind, friendly, and hard working. ?He resized my ring in about 25 minutes and cleaned it for free! ?It looked like a brand new ring after he was done with it, I couldn’t stop looking at it! ?Sam is a true professional and provided excellent customer service. ?I recommend him for all of your jewelry repairs/needs. ?My fiance is having Sam fix his watch band for him as we speak.
Went in for a battery replacement for my watch that I had been putting off for too long. I was going to do it myself but came across the reviews on yelp with this watch repair shop located near my work. Mentioned Yelp and got the replacement for $5…the battery alone is pretty much worth that! Highly recommend as was in and out in 5min and he definitely knew what he was doing. I’ll be back and not because the battery goes out.
Did a very nice job for a great price on resizing a ring that others said they couldn’t do. ?Would recommend this place to anyone.
Sam is really fantastic.I have had a necklace and a watch repaired here. ?The necklace was done within an afternoon, and Sam actually fixed some things on the necklace that I hadn’t even noticed before bringing it in, without extra charge. ?The watch was fixed for $20 less than what the watch manufacturer quoted me.He works quick, and the work is good. Cash only, btw.
I needed to get my rings resized, but there was no way i was going ?to leave it for repair for a few hours or let alone over one week! So I yelped around to see if there were any onsite repair shop where i can wait for the resizing. I found Sam’s Jewelry thanks to yelpers. I called and took my rings for resizing. Sam was very nice and resized my rings in like 30 minutes while i was there watching him work! The ring was beautiful and looked like new!! He also offered to clean my necklace~~ I would definately recommend Sam to everyone looking for a Nice job and good prices too!
I brought my engagement ring to Sam to take it down a full size and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Someone else had mentioned their ring looking better than when they first got it and I totally agree. My ring was dropped in champagne and wasn’t cleaned after that. You can’t even tell it was resized and when I got it back (I waited for about an hour) I fell in love it all over again. He’s located in a jewelry plaza so make sure you go to F9 since there are two Sam’s. I’d recommend anyone who’s looking to resize their ring to go here.
Just had my watch batteries replaced. ?While I was waiting, I asked him if he could do anything to make my engagement ring and wedding band look nicer. ?He made them look brand new…even better looking than when I first got them. ?He’s very nice and prices are reasonable. ?Will definitely be back for other jewelry repairs.
Wow, Sam is incredible. ?I asked him if he could take a couple links out of my watch. ?I had tried to do it myself for about 3 hours last night, and failed. ?He was friendly, quick, and efficient. ?He was done in about 10 minutes. When I asked Sam how much I owed him, he said he would feel bad charging me since I had worked on it myself for a little while. ?He refused to take my money! ?The next time I need help, I’m definitely coming back here.
This is a great establishment. Sam is a very nice guy and an expert in his field.A couple of months ago I had a watch band replaced and he did the job perfectly. He also fixed a few other issues with my watch at no additional charge. He is a great worker, very friendly, and I couldn’t have been more satisfied.Sam also did me a huge favor by letting me film a student film there. He even participated in the film and was incredibly generous with his time.I wouldn’t take my jewelry anywhere else! Sam is the best.
Sam did it again! I had been gifted an old-fashioned ring with a one-carat diamond in it. It was not my style, neither the setting nor the ring shape nor the color gold. I was hoping to take the stone out and get it put into a nice, classic bezel-setting. I came to Sam with a picture of a pretty wholesale Silver Jewelry, bezel-set ring that looked like what I wanted. Sam met with me, discussed my tastes, and proceeded to make me an even prettier version of the ring in the picture. He made it from scratch, and it is just breathtaking!!! The craftsmanship is amazing, and Sam is a champ! He even gave me credit for the scrap value of the old gold. Wow! ?And seriously, he couldn’t be nicer. I would give him six stars if I could!
I have taken 3 watches to service with Sam and he did a wonderful job with all 3. ?1 was a complete restoration of a 50yr old watch given to me by my grandfather. ?I trust Sam to service all my watches and recommend him to all my friends. ?Very friendly and does more than asked of him.BKS
Sam and his staff were great! He amazing work on an engagement ring I was having “made” ( It was my mother’s ring…replaced the entire band). Sam was very personable and let me watch the whole process. While Sam was busy finishing up the ring, a regular customer came in and said to me in private, “Sam is great. I dont trust anyone else with my jewelry”. That says a lot to me. So much so, that I wont go anywhere else. Thanks again, Sam!
After dropping my Omega Seamaster, I was pretty sure that I would be sending it off to the Omega service center. ?After doing a search, I heard that Sam was a local watch maker who could repair Omega’s and offer a warranty on the work. ?I am glad to say that he fixed the watch quickly and even polished up the scratches on the band. ?Thanks Sam!
Came here to get my wedding band sized down and Sam did a great job working with me to get the band sized exactly how I wanted it. At first I thought it was good but then after a few minutes I realized it was too tight so I went back and Sam gladly sized it for me several more times to get it just right. Really great work and plan on going back for some other things I need done!
My engagement ring belonged to my fiance’s grandmother, and it’s all a girl could ask for: a big, shiny, not-*too*-cruel diamond (well, it’s vintage, right?) set in an beautifully detailed, intricately-designed band. ?However, the band was also about four or five sizes too big, and after hearing some horror stories, we were really worried that some of the detailing would end up getting warped, squashed, or removed altogether in the process of resizing the ring. When we took the ring in to be resized, we chose Sam’s–and discovered that there was absolutely nothing to worry about. ?Sam cleaned and resized the ring in about half an hour without altering the band’s design at all. ?We even got to watch the whole (vaguely alchemical-looking) process: Sam soldered the pieces together by holding a blowtorch to the ring–and when he took the blowtorch away, the ring burned green for a good few seconds. ?I won’t lie, it was kind of awesome. ?It made me feel like I was getting the One True Ring. My precioussss….The long and the short of it is that I can’t recommend Sam highly enough. ?He’s very nice, his prices are more than reasonable, and he does quality work. ?I’ll definitely be back.
So disappointed – my Timex Triathalon just needed a new battery and it seemed really difficult to replace while I waited. ?There was a hard time getting it open and a really hard time getting it closed again. ?Upon returning to my office and setting the watch again all of the alarm functions (which I use for Running) no longer make any sound. ?No alarm function means the watch is now junk to me. ?I’m bummed and won’t go back!I am updating my experience to 3 stars because Sam contacted me personally to try to remedy the problem with my watch. ?I had already spent time online and at home figuring out the problem myself because I needed the watch for a long run the next day! ?I will try again with Sam in the future.
Simply amazing. ?We walked in at 10:48am and were back out the door at 11:20am even though Sam had one customer ahead of us. His work was flawless. I am going to go back to Sam to see if he can bring back a 1939 watch from the dead. Sam is a very nice young Egyptian man who has been in business on his own since 2000 and who began his profession at the age of TEN. ?You gotta love guys like that!!!
Sam is great! He is Extremely friendly and very fast. I will definitely be returning.
This week I decided to finally cowboy-up and get my antique winding watch repaired. I had gotten some quotes some time ago which were quite flooring ($130+ to fix the hairspring!!) and made me seriously consider buying a Swatch. But I LOVE my little antique store treasure, so I thought ?”Screw it.. at least if I check with Sam I’ll get an honest assessment.” When I told him my concerns about price, he gave me another option that others either didn’t or wouldn’t mention to me: I could put a modern mechanism in the housing for a FRACTION of the cost of repairing the damaged hairspring.VICTORY!!! I got to keep my watch, most of my money AND I no longer have to worry about winding my watch all the time!
Sam and his staff are honest, reliable, friendly, fast, reasonably-priced expert craftsmen. ?What more could you ask for? ?I have taken four vintage watches here for cleaning and repair and he has fixed them all to my complete satisfaction. ?He is the first and only person I have met who would undertake to repair one of those metal diagonally-expandable bands from way back in the day – every other watch repair shop I had visited over the years said it could not be done. ? I unreservedly recommend Sam’s. ?As other reviewers have stated, cash only.
My engagement ring had been stuck on my finger for upwards of six months. Considering it’s theoretically supposed to be on all of the time, I ignored the problem, occasionally making some unsuccessful attempts to get it off. Today was one of the hottest days of the year so far, and my fingers were more swollen than usual, spurring me to take action. A quick Yelp search yielded Sam’s Jewelry & Watch Repair, and I took my fat hand Downtown. Sam carefully clipped off my overly clingy ring, and gently slid it off my finger. He did a quick repair, resize and cleaning for just $20. The ring looked better than it ever had, and I could not just keep on the ring — but take it off (a key, hoped-for feature in rings). Quick note: Sam’s shop is in the back, right corner of the showroom.
I discovered Sam’s through Yelp and am so glad that I did. ?He is an excellent craftsman and very knowledgeable about any type of watch. He repaired my Movado and it looks brand new again at a fraction of the price I would’ve paid elsewhere. Will definitely be recommending to other friends and going back again soon with my other watches.
I love Sam! He fixed two necklaces while I waited and cleaned my rings for free!
My fiance gave me his grandmother’s engagement ring made in the 1920′s. ?After a year the diamond started getting loose so we took it to a jewerly store in Manhattan Beach and the lady said this ring is in such bad shape and I should get a new one. ?I was so depressed since this ring means the world to me. ?I took it to Sam and he fix it in a week and it looks like new. ?His work is unbelieveable!!!!! Soooooooooooo thankful!
Sam is amazing. I received a Christmas present of a bangle and I had worn it out in three months time. ?I took this bangle to a jeweler who said he could fix it but it would break again after some use. ?And, I took it to a silversmith who was going to charge me $175.My friend referred me to Sam, and he fixed it with this amazing machine that does laser soldering and won’t heat or damage the rest of the bracelet. ?I stood there and watched him fix it in 15 minutes. ?He proceeded to polish it like brand new and showed me by stressing it, that the bracelet would not break easily anymore. ?I took it home that same day.Sam is worth it. ?Unless I move, I will only use him for future repairs.
I was directed to Sam by Farah Jewelry, which is a jewelry vendor not too far from Sam’s shop (also highly rated on this site). ?They handed me over to Sam because I was looking to adjust an engagement ring I wanted to present to my girlfriend. ?Sam gave me highly personalized service, and proved that he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. ?He did a really quality job, where I can’t even tell that a job was done on the piece I brought in.In addition to helping me, Sam also showed me a few other projects that he’s done on the side for the musician Jason Mraz — a number of engraved pendants and pins for Jason’s “Fight with Knowledge” campaign, as well as bracelets for Mr. Mraz’s entire crew and accompanying band that featured the names of all of the stops on a recent tour they completed together. ?All from this little room in the back of 637 Hill Street — very impressive!Sam mentioned that he also runs the Galleria Watch and Jewelry Repair stand in the Glendale Galleria. ?I would keep my eye out for that if you’re in the area: if they do the same kind of work, then it’s definitely also a 5-star joint. Thanks Sam! ?She said “yes”!
Upon my recent engagement, I was very nervous about having my grandmother’s vintage ring re-sized. ?We definitely made the right choice in going to Sam!He is extremely friendly, professional, and does astoundingly fine work. ?The price is absolutely right, and we watched him complete the task in approximately a half-hour.All-in-all, it was a better experience than I ever could imagine, and will bring all of my jewelry needs to him in the future. ?Seriously, look no further, SAM IS THE MAN!!
I recently got engaged and, knowing that I wanted an aquamarine, my fiance wanted my input in picking out the ring. ?We first went to two different Tiffany locations and were unpleasantly surprised at the quality (and variation in quality) of their stones, in addition to the quality of the settings. ?(Aren’t they known for their settings?) ?We then decided that we wanted to have the ring custom-made, and immediately thought of Sam, based upon prior experiences with him and upon the reviews we had seen. ?I am SO glad that we went to him. ?We first picked out a stone ourselves and brought it to Sam (although apparently he could have helped us choose the stone, too). ?I had a somewhat vague idea of the type of setting I wanted, and Sam was great at helping me figure out what would look best with my stone and on my hand, giving me pros and cons of each of the various aspects of the setting I was considering (number and shape of prongs, height, thickness, etc.). ?I visited him a couple of times to obsessively tweak things based upon wax models and photos, and in the end I wound up with a gorgeous, perfect ring. ?EXACTLY what I wanted, and exactly right for me. ?Thank you, Sam! ?:-)
I went to see Sam this past weekend and he was so friendly and wonderful! Beware that there are 3 different Sam’s in the same building so make sure you go to Suite F9. It’s in the back right hand corner. I brought him a ring to size and he did it right there in front of me in less than 30 minutes! He even explained what he was doing every step of the way. He definitely knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
There is no limit to what Sam can do. ?I took my engagement ring to him and was able to reset the prongs, re-size it, and make a custom wedding band that fits beautifully! ?He is an extremely talented craftsman and honest businessman. ?I will only take my jewelry and watches to Sam from now on.
Needed a quick battery installation during my lunch break. Quick and easy…no wait.
I took my grandmother’s antique engagement ring to Sam to be resized. Not only did he do it while I waited, but he was also able to give me some information about the cut of the diamond and everything! He also cleaned it and made it look like it was new. It came out perfect…and he is so nice! I would definitely trust him with any future jewelry repairs i might have. Sam’s the best!
Sam is a very nice guy and his work is very fast!I brought my necklace there once and he fixed it right away. But after that, I did something stupid and needed it to be repaired again.(It was totally my fault…)So I brought it back and explained what happened, and he fixed it for free! Also he did it in 5min!!
Great service! Sam stayed late to accommodate my schedule. Thanks so much for your help!
Just got my watch battery changed for an amazing price. Quick service too.
Very nice and very quick. I just had 2 watches, one nice, one not, that needed batteries. He replaced them in 10 minutes while we waited and gave me the Yelp price of $5 per battery, including the work. $10 and 10 minutes later I finally could wear the watch that had been waiting uselessly on my dresser for months. The only reason for the 4 stars is the heinous parking situation downtown. Call and ask him where to park before you go, he said they validate for a nearby structure. Also, his kiosk is in the back right corner of one of those indoor jewelry emporiums so you won’t see his name from the street, so look for the address of the building.
Fixed my watch in one day. Charged me next to nothing for the screw that was missing. Kind, courteous, professional, and just makes you feel good about what he’s doing for you. Thanks Sam!
Look no further, if you need any kind of jewelry repair, Sam is The Best. ?I trust no man with my jewelry, other than Sam. ?His pricing is fair, very speedy and you get to see his magical hands revive your jewelry right before your eyes! ?I have been going to Sam for over five years now, he has fixed broken chains, resized rings, rhodium plated my white gold jewelry, replaced watch batteries, engraved pens, and so much more; I am truly greatful for his services. ?I refer friends and family without reservation, I know he can fix it all. ?Thank you Sam!
I had a lot of costume jewelry that I needed repaired. ?Rings with broken prongs, or the back of the ring broken, necklaces with missing links, bracelets with needed clasps. ?I took a bunch of my jewelry into Sam’s. ?They were not judgemental at all. ?I have taken some of my jewelry into other jewelry stores and the personnel act like it isn’t worth fixing if it isn’t an expensive piece. ?I don’t care how much my jewelry is worth, if I love it it doesn’t matter. ?At Sam’s they were extremely nice and non-judgemental. ?He did an EXCELLENT job at fixing all my jewelry and at very reasonable prices. ?My rings were $20 each to repair and well worth it. ?I am extremely happy with his work and the friendliness at Sam’s and I am going to refer him to all my costume jewelry loving friends! ?The only downfall is parking, the lot nearby is $4.00 per 15 minutes.
Wow in about 40 minutes my Moms’ antique engagement ring went from being too big and a little tarnished to a perfectly sized and beautifully shiny engagement ring. Thanks Sam & your lovely friend for doing such a good job. I’ll be recommending you to all my friends. ?Although there’s a problem, I can’t stop looking at my ring!
I have a nice watch I’d been meaning to have adjusted (wristband too big) and needed a new battery for it too. I searched Watch Repair and saw that Sam’s business was close to my office. When you enter the 637 building, just walk past all the stalls to the back right corner. There is Sam’s stall. He fixed my watch. Thought I’d have to leave it overnight, but he took care of it right away in 15 minutes. Great service, good price. Highly recommend if you’re near the Jewelery District and need a watch repair. He also repairs other jewelry items.
Sam was really nice! It was closing time but he still fixed my watch! He gave me a reallly realllllly good discount too!!!!!!!
Sam repaired 2 water damaged watches of mine: an Omega and a Sinn. Watchmakers I had spoken to about the Omega wouldn’t touch it, they told me that I had to send it to the factory repair shop on the east coast. Sam did a beautiful job on both of them, he is a real craftsman.
so my boyfriend presented me with a lovely, antique engagement ring one lovely evening. however, that ring ended up constantly slipping off my finger. no fear, he said! we would go to this jewelry repair place he was referred to. once there, i told him that i didn’t even know what my ring finger size was, and he kindly helped me figure it out with his handy, dandy ring chain. also good to note that this guy was really, really friendly. totally personable and appreciative of your patronage. we had to leave to run some errands, but an hour later, we picked the ring up, resized perfectly and polished up to a really lovely sparkle!great craftsmanship, great service, and an all-around friendly guy!thanks sam!
Sam did great. ?I asked him to adjust my watch and he did it in a few minutes for free. Also, my diamond ring was missing a stone and I had a broken necklace that he fixed in a week. ?I was too busy to go to pick them up, but he called me a few times to remind me and he was always very nice. Finally my husband went to pick them up about few weeks later since Sam called me and my hubby said Sam was a really nice guy! He’s done everything that I wanted with such a reasonable price. I highly recommend him and I’m sure you won’t be sorry! He’s very professional and also a gentleman!
Always does a good job at a reasonable price.
Took my watch in to get the band fixed after I broke it trying to do it myself. Sam paid incredible attention to detail. Great work. Wouldn’t settle for a job less than perfect. Will definitely return for more service. Thanks!
Sam is a nice guy and is very accommodating. ?A couple of weeks ago, I brought a very old ring that was missing a center diamond as well as a couple of stones on the side. ?Sam was able to replace the stones and make the ring look like new! ?He was able to resize it perfectly, too. ?I am very happy with his work and will continue to take my jewelry to him.
I have been going to Sam’s Jewelry for awhile now and I will not go anywhere else. ?The first time I had to get a new battery for my watch and the turn around was really fast. ?He even sized a ring I brought in a few weeks later and it was the perfect size. ?I brought a friend and she now also goes to Sam to get her ring sized. ?Sam is very friendly and accomodates you of what you want.
Sam’s is great. I went here to resize and clean an engagement ring that was my grandmother’s, and he had it done the next day. When I found out the size was too still too big for my fiance because I didn’t have her ring size quite right, she took it back and he resized it again and only charged me less than half of the regular price. He even had it done within a couple hours. Very friendly, and all around great service. Highly recommended.
I wouldn’t go anywhere but here for my jewelry repairs, resizing and custom orders. I am picky with details and Sam is the nicest guy who will listen to what you need. And he will get it done perfectly and at a reasonable price you don’t find often these days. Really, no need to be reading long reviews here, just go to him and you will not go wrong. I have dealt with many jewelers and Sam is the best, I’ve gone to him so many times and each has been a perfect experience.
Sam was great. I took a new Guess watch to Sam to have him take out some links. He did the job in about ten minutes, and only charged me five bucks. The watch still looks great. He’s also generally very nice and accomodating. I’ll definitely go back if I need any other work done on the watch.
Sam was great. ?Everything i could’ve wanted. ?i had a swiss army watch that had stopped working a few years back. ?i knew it wasn’t the battery, but i was just being lazy about it. ?looked on yelp, found sam near my office. ?was hard to find his place at first – it’s in the back of one of those diamond seller stall-malls on Hill Street. ?But he was super nice, had it done within a day. ?i wanted some more stuff adjusted – sizing – which he did for free. ?this is the first review i’ve done on yelp – if that says anything i finally joined so i could make a comment about this guy. ?wouldn’t have found him without yelp. ?so thanks othe3r people who came before me. . .
I have my great grandmother’s engagement ring from the early 1900s and the delicate opals keep falling out. After reading reviews on yelp, I chose to take it to Sam’s since he has lots of experience dealing with antique rings. He was so nice and worked on it while I waited. It only took him about 15-20 minutes to reset the opal that had fallen out, I believe that he set it lower and added some glue and bent the prongs to hold it in better. It looked as beautiful as ever when he finished – you would never know there was any glue on it. AND he cleaned it for me. When I asked him how much I owed him, he wouldn’t accept any money and said it was easy and fast! I was so amazed! The last jewelry store I took it to charged me about $30 for the exact same thing! I can definitely understand why he has so many fantastic reviews. There’s a cool LA Times article posted in his office talking about him and how he learned the trade from his father (a jeweler) ?while a child in Egypt. Like the article says, you don’t want to risk taking your irreplaceable antique to someone who may return it altered and unfixable. But Sam has proven to be skilled, trusted, and very affordable. Just to reiterate what someone else said about his location, he’s in the small office in the back right of the building. That was the only way I was able to find him among all the vendors. Highly recommend him!
I read an article in the LA Times about the best jewelry repair shops. ?Sam’s was listed as one of them. ?I took him a gold watch that needed some links taken out of. ?When I came to pick it up he had made it so small that it wouldn’t even fit on my wrist. ?He had me wait for 45 minutes while he made it bigger. ?When I got back to work and really looked at it I was horrified. ?Not only was it still very tight but the workmanship looked as if my someone had tried to fix it with a soldering gun in a garage. ?The links were no longer mobile, the gold was a different color and the soldering looked just plainsloppy. ?And to top it off he didn’t give me back the solid gold links he removed. ?I returned the next day for the links. ?He did offer to redo it for me as he said he felt rushed with me sitting there waiting for him to fix his poor work the first time. ?I told him he should of sent me away and done a proper job. ?I declined his offer as I would never trust him with even the simplest of repairs after seeing what he did to my watch. ?I must say tho that he did offer to refund my money – which I gladly took as I can only imagine how much the repair is going to cost me now after the watch has been mangled. ?Need I say I would not recommend him to anyone.
Allow me to ditto the raves. ?First of all, Sam is YOUNG…I was going in expecting an old, wizened caricature of a jeweler!! ?I brought in my watch (for a battery) and a pin I bought at Flax eons ago that relies on a watch battery (it shows a little movie on an LED screen). ?He gave me the Yelp battery price on both, and took care of both in a twinkling (the watch right away; I left the pin and said I’d pick it up next week, but 30 min later got a call it was ready. ?He had invited me to wait a few more minutes for the pin but a meter was running…) ?The shop is immaculate and the patrons who mob his place are very friendly. It was a very pleasant experience and I am so glad to have found someone who isn’t going to “retire” on me any time soon (as happened with my trusted jewelers of yore!) ?While I waited for my watch to be serviced, I observed the various patrons picking up their items: ?a ring sized, a stone replaced, an expensive watch repaired. ?All of them were very, very happy with Sam’s work. ?Oh, and btw, may sound silly but of grave importance to me: ?CLEAN restroom facilities available while you wait.
OK, this is such an easy review to write. SAM IS THE MAN! We found him by searching Yelp, so I had to write a review of my own after meeting and doing business with him. We went in to get my fiance’s engagement ring re-sized. We read about the quick and excellent service he provides, well it is 100% true. Not only were we out of there in less than an hour with a flawless and perfectly re-sized ring…but we sat with him and watched the whole time! He is a great guy, the time flew by as we chatted with him. He even cleaned the other jewelry she was wearing for free! OH, and our ring re-size only cost 25 bucks! He is great at what he does, couldn’t have asked for anything more…he is as good as it gets! He repairs all kinds of jewelry, check him out. We will go back to him next time we need something done. He is in the Wholesale Jewelers Exchange building…when parking, look for lots on nearby parallel streets…many lots are only 6 bucks for the whole day, which is a lot cheaper than some of the short term lots around the downtown LA Jewelry district! Thanks again Sam!!

My family has been doing business with this place for over 20 years, since it was at its previous location and I have only heard great things. Recently, my grandmother gave me a Rolex that use to be my grandfathers. It needed two additional links and a cleaning. I was told to take it Craig Evan Small. I love watches and know quite a bit about Rolex’s, but I still wanted to learn as much as I can. I took the watch there and they told me all about it and then they ordered me two links and wounded the watch. I went in on Saturday and I got the watch back on Wednesday, which was very quick. The two links were $100, which for a Rolex is a decent price. I was not aware that Rolex’s have a sort of electrical current that runs through it, so if you do not wear it, it starts losing time. That was also explained to me. I have not boughten anything from here but I did look around and the prices were very comparable and it is always nice to give your money to a local place rather then a department store or some equivalent. If you love watches, you should check out Craig Evan Small.
My friend is looking for an engagement ring so we went hunting to several shops for a vintage ring. I decided to Google for shops in West Hollywood and this was the first one on the list.I’m so glad we went there Jennifer was so patient and knowledgeable making the task of getting information for my friend’s boyfriend so easy and painless.Thank you for treating my friend with such respect and kindness… (I hope she gets the ring we saw there).
I put my husband to the challenge during the engagement ring shopping–I showed him a few antique rings I liked and told him he couldn’t buy me any of those. I wanted to push him to find me something from his heart, something he could feel proud choosing himself. I also liked watching him get nervous. Ha! ?Luckily, he found the perfect ring at Craig Evan Small. He told them what he had in mind for me, and they instinctively knew he was seeking something unique with a beautiful setting. Jennifer recommended a ring that had just come in. In fact, it hadn’t even been added to their inventory yet! It turned out to be the perfect ring. The next time we were in L.A., we went in to have the ring resized, and Craig, who has the sharpest eyes ever, noticed that my Rolex had a small chip on the crystal face. He offered to fix and clean my watch for a low fee Wedding Jewelry, and they shipped both the ring and watch back to me in New York for free. ?The watch, which was my mom’s in the 1980s, looked like new, and the ring has received endless compliments. Even my mom loves it, and she’s definitely a hard one to please.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff with an amazing selection of interesting and beautiful jewelry.
Located in the Antiquarius Jewelry Mall on Beverly, this shop deals in fine estate and antique jewelry and watches. ?They have a pretty big (relative to many places) selection of gorgeous antique engagement rings and the on-site gemologist, Jennifer, is very helpful and friendly. ?Give them (and the Antiquarius Mall) a shot if you’re hunting for something shiny and old.
I’ve been looking for an estate/vintage jewelry store to trust for years and finally found a wonderful one — ?Craig Evan Small. To try them out I brought in a dainty old diamond band ring for sizing, a little worried about what would happen to the tiny back of the ring. ?Jennifer was fantastic! ?She made me feel comfortable right away and said very nice things about my ring. ?Since I brought it in close to the New Year she said it would take a little longer than usual — which still only meant a week of waiting. ?She called me as soon as it arrived and when I picked it up I was thrilled. ?The ring was so much more beautiful than when I brought it in! ?Their jeweler cleaned and polished it up like new (quite a feat for a 150 year old ring). ?The sizing job was perfect, just seamless, and I can’t recommend them enough. ?And the cost was beyond reasonable too — just $30.I also took a look at many of their beautiful offerings, and to a vintage or antique jewelry lover this place is like heaven. ?The prices are a bit steep, but that’s what you’d expect from a store of this caliber and address. ?Still, if you’re looking for a vintage engagement ring, watch or any piece of really special and unique jewelry, this is a wonderful place to at least start fashion jewelry, and maybe pick up just what you always wanted…or never even knew you wanted.
